New eLiterature Format
We are pleased to announce that, along with the printed form of our publications, we now offer the Program Basics in eBook format. The Program Basics include Forever Abstinent, Sponsor Guidelines, Steps 6-12, Maintenance Sponsor Guide and The Twelve Traditions Study Guide. Over time we plan to make all of our literature available in both print and eBook format on this site.
To purchase our eLiterature you do not need to own a special device such as a Nook or a Kindle. If you have any device, computer, laptop, tablet, smart phone, that can download an app you can purchase our eLiterature and hear/read it on your device
DO NOT ORDER BEFORE READING THE FOLLOWING:
- Before you purchase eLiterature, you will need to have an eReader app downloaded on your PC, tablet or smartphone. CEA-HOW does not endorse any specific eReader app. You can download eReader apps from your favorite app store.

How it Works

Click on the eLiterature tab on the menu bar above. Select the literature and add it to your shopping cart. Each piece of eLiterature comes in the Kindle format (.mobi) or all other eReading app format (.ePub). Be sure you select the correct format for your eReader app. If you purchase the wrong format for your application, you will have to purchase another to obtain the correct format.
We have the requirement to be sponsored by a CEA-HOW sponsor to receive Forever Abstinent and Sponsor Guidelines, therefore, we have implemented a verification process to be completed prior to adding those items to your cart. If you are purchasing Forever Abstinent or Sponsor Guidelines, a popup box will appear. Answer the three questions, if they apply. Click on the Submit button, and the item will be added to your cart.
When you are finished shopping, click on the shopping cart on the menu bar and review your order, then select Checkout. Scroll down and click on the “Terms and Conditions” link. Once you have reviewed the Terms and Conditions, click on the box to confirm your acceptance. Then click on “Continue”. On the next screen you will have the option of paying through Paypal or directly using your Credit or Debit Card. After paying click on “Return to Merchant Site”.
You will receive a response on the screen thanking you for your order. You will receive an email confirming your order along with the link to download the eLiterature or you can click on the “Downloads” link on the menu bar. Once on the Downloads page you will see your purchases with a link to download the eBook. At this point, what happens will vary with the device and app you are using. Generally it will ask you which App you want to use to open the file. Select open and then find the app. Literature will open up and automatically save to your eReader app. You will only be allowed to download each piece of literature ONCE.
If after you have successfully opened the document in your application and the next time you can’t find it, use the search function. Some apps classify the eLiterature as a document and doesn’t show up automatically.
